Dropbox is now available for Windows 8 and RT users

Dropbox is now offered for Windows 8/Windows RT and can now be downloaded without cost via Microsoft’s Home windows Store.

We knew Dropbox was coming we just didn’t know when. Microsoft confirmed that Dropbox can be coming to its Windows Store at its final developer conference in October, so we knew it was only a matter of time.

With Dropbox put in, you may open and edit information from other Home windows eight/Windows RT apps and share information, folders and content through Home windows 8’s Share Charm.

We haven’t examined the applying out just yet, but The Verge is reporting that ‘total the app is a reasonably fundamental one that mimics net entry to Dropbox with a tiled interface to suit Home windows eight's aesthetics.’

Nonetheless, it’s good to see some massive title developers making their approach over to Microsoft’s Home windows Store.

The addition of Dropbox to Microsoft’s Windows Store and consequently its Trendy UI is definitely a welcome one. Hopefully it’ll encourage more huge name builders to construct apps for Home windows 8/RT.

The Retailer itself continues to be somewhat sparse despite large efforts from Microsoft to rally developers to the platform. Till we see some massive enhancements in this regard we cannot advocate Microsoft's Surface RT slate, which is all too reliant on the Home windows Store.
